Fishing season for club members only is from 1st October to 31st May.
The fishery is currently undergoing some clearance and maintenance work by the keepers and members of the club.
The lake holds a good head of fish. Recent catches including Roach, Rudd ,Perch and Ide. There is a heavy level of sub surface weed on much of the water and many trees and islands in the lake, good fish refuges, however there are clear gravel swims to be found.
The water consists of the main lake and a canal section, both are open to our members to fish.
Care should be taken on swims near the overhead cables.
There are plenty of swims now cleared for fishing. Fishing is from the bank only. Members should be aware that the platforms are in a dangerous state and should not be used. It is intended to remove the platforms later in the year.Ensure you have your club book with you for inspection at the water.
The owner has the right to drain water from the lake as and when he needs to and he will attempt to advise the club when this becomes necessary. Members can still choose to fish when this happens if they wish.
