Salisbury & District Angling Club Academy Programme
It has been said that 80% of fish are caught by 20% of anglers and the Club’s returns would tend to bear this out. You could put this down to luck but its more likely a combination of skill and experience. Experience is gained from spending time on the water, putting in the hours. Skill can be gained from reading books, online research and watching videos. But this can be very thoeretical.
Better to try and get some first hand instruction or support from people who know what they are talking about.
In 2020 the Club started to develop the Academy Programme. The Programme’s aim is to help Club members maximise the fishing opportunities the Club offers by providing the necessary support, knowledge and skills. The size and scope of the Programme will depend on the demand within the Club but it is envisiged that it will include instruction, mentoring and other forms of support.
Covid put pay to the Clubs plans for 2020 and early 2021 but we are now starting to roll out the Academy Programme.
