The section below Ham Hatches will partly open this Friday May 18th by 3 pm.
Access will only be allowed through the locked gate on the true left bank at Ham Hatches.
Proceed downstream through the next locked gate and then you can access the water all the way down to the Sleeper Bridge and below.
If you aim to fish the water above Allenby Bridge, please note that it is WADING ONLY and you will need to exit the water on the true left bank where the wooden steps are.
The true right bank from Allenby Bridge to Ham Hatches will remain closed for a bit longer to dry out.
There are still some wet patches on the true left bank and we would appreciate if you try to avoid them, as much as possible.
Please be careful when you are wading. The visibility is improving, but the water is still quite deep.
