Weed Cutting Dates 2021 River Avon
The following dates have been approved by the Environment Agency and Wiltshire Fishery Association for weed cutting in the 2020 season.
Weed growth at the start of the year will be closely monitored and cut early in the allocated period if required .

IMPORTANT NOTICE: EA WEED BOOM DEPLOYMENT DURING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
The weed booms were unable to be deployed in 2020 and we were unable to cut any weed.
Discussions are continuing with the Environment Agency and are hopeful they will be able to install their booms in Salisbury & Chilhampton in 2021, however, this has NOT yet been confirmed. Further updates will be posted on the website as soon as we have more information.
