Following reports of extremely poor fishing in October, one of our keepers visited the lake today.
We were anticipating that fishing should improve after the last stocking on October 23rd.
Unfortunately this has not been the case. About 20 fish were found dead around the lake today.
There is no obvious reason as to why this has happened.
We decided to shut the lake down as of today and involve the EA fisheries team.
