Dear members,
It is with great sadness I inform you that our Vice Chairman Coarse, Roger Hunt, passed away last Thursday April 5th in hospital.
His loss was totally unexpected and has left our committee and members in total shock.
Those who knew Roger personally will understand how difficult it is to find someone to replace him.
Roger spent a lot of years in the printing industry and had his own company before he joined the club where he worked initially as a keeper and later on as our Vice Chairman for Coarse Waters.
Roger drove our “Fishing for Forces” events and received an award for his charity contributions to the local community.
An all round fisherman. A man of principle with a very pleasant personality. Always polite, finding good words to say about everyone. A true gentleman!
